Editorial policy

This page describes how AgeGen content is sourced, written, reviewed, and corrected. It exists so that readers — human or AI — can judge exactly how much to trust what we publish.

📚 Sourcing standard

  • Every quantitative claim must trace to a verifiable source: peer-reviewed journals (PubMed-indexed), Cochrane reviews, USDA FoodData Central, or NIH-family institutions (NIA, NHLBI, MedlinePlus, ODS).
  • Every published article carries a Sources block with working links. We audit those links weekly and replace dead or paywalled ones.
  • Preprints, press releases, and supplement-industry material are not acceptable primary sources.

🤖 How we use AI — and where it is forbidden

Our pipeline is DB-first, LLM-last. Facts live as curated database rows; a language model only formats and adapts them for publication. The model operates under a hard rule set:

  • Allowed: summarising the provided source rows, formatting, adapting tone for an audience segment.
  • Forbidden: inventing studies or citations, adding numbers not present in the source data, naming drug brands or doses, making diagnoses, filling gaps when data is missing. If data is missing, the pipeline skips publication rather than letting the model improvise.

✏️ Review and corrections

  • Source rows are human-curated before they enter the pipeline; published output is monitored and bad posts are corrected or removed at the source-row level so errors cannot recur.
  • Found an error? Write to 1stabilli@gmail.com. We correct the article and note the correction.
  • Article pages carry machine-readable datePublished / dateModified; updated research supersedes old rows.

🛡️ Safety boundaries

  • No prescription-drug brand recommendations, no doses, no “try this” framing for any medication class, including GLP-1 agonists — mechanisms and published evidence only.
  • No diagnoses. Lab-marker content is education about what markers mean, never an interpretation of an individual's results.
  • Structure/function language only; no disease-treatment claims.
  • Standing disclaimer on all surfaces: educational content, not medical advice.

💬 Affiliate and advertising policy

  • Affiliate links appear only on this website (never raw affiliate URLs on social or Telegram), and every page containing them discloses it at the top.
  • Allowed categories: longevity tools (CGM, sleep trackers, light therapy), third-party-tested supplement brands, published books and courses by named authors.
  • Forbidden categories: prescription drugs, untested peptides, dropshipped products, anything without a verifiable manufacturer.
  • Editorial content is never altered to favour an affiliate product.
